Eating Europe is (and always has been) a remote organization. Our team is spread across the world in each of our destinations and beyond! Building our team’s relationships virtually has always been one of the biggest strengths as a remote small business. Even though we see each other rarely, we’re a big family!
We like to think of ourselves as experts not only in food tours & culinary experiences, but also with designing and creating virtual team building activities! We’ve been doing it since 2011.
While we’ve always enjoyed that one-time per year we would come together as a team in one of our destinations, we knew it was never enough. Starting out as quarterly virtual happy hours & other fun virtual events, we began to shift and create new and unique ideas from ugly Christmas hat contests to virtual cook-offs to virtual cooking lessons. Team Building activities we created and participated in ourselves have generated the most “remember when …” water cooler conversations – in Slack of course! – over the following weeks and even years!
Some of the more recent events we’ve had include virtual cooking class team building activities. Each class would include one Eating Europe team member teaching a local dish they grew up with or that has inspired them in their personal or professional lives. These Eating Europe events transitioned into the virtual cooking classes we are offering your teams today!
From our own virtual team building activity experiences, we know these events are a great opportunity to bring a team together. While each person is sitting in their own kitchen, they get to cook together, laugh together, share personal stories and learn entertaining and educational experiences from our hosts!
We hope your business will join us virtually!
