Valeria was an excellent host. The most favorite stop was of course the gelato. However, the Restarante Spirito di Vino was absolutely the best and the wine cellar was fantastic. Enzo's was awesome. Best organic extra virgin olive oil I have ever tased. Norcineria was absolutely delicious with the white pizza & pork.

We had such a wonderful time during our pasta-making class with Leo and Marielle in Trastevere! From the moment we arrived, Leo made us feel welcome and created a fun, relaxed atmosphere. His passion for Italian cuisine and culture really came through, and he was incredibly knowable and engaging throughout the experience.
The class was hands-on, informative, and—most importantly—delicious! We learned how to make pasta from scratch, enjoyed some amazing food, and got to connect with others in a beautiful Roman setting. It was truly a highlight of our trip to Rome.
Highly recommend this experience with Eating Europe, especially if you get Leo as your guide. Grazie mille, Leo!

This was a delightfully fun tour with Lucrezia! She shared so much great knowledge about Rome and the neighborhood of Trastevere! The food was delicious and we enjoyed walking from place to place and loved the vibrancy of the area. I would highly recommend this excellent food tour in Trastavere, especially with your friends, like I did!

For our first night in Rome we decided to do the Twilight Trastevere Rome Food Tour and it did not disappoint! My husband and I have done several tours with Eating Europe and the Trastevere tour was definitely one of the best. All of the food was delicious and paired with some incredible wine. Walking through Trastevere in the evening was amazing - it’s so different from the main attractions of Rome, but in a good way! Last but not least, we had a wonderful guide. Miri was so kind, shared a lot of history throughout the tour, and made sure everyone in the group was having the best time. Grazie mille Miri!

Toni was an absolutely superb tour guide for the Trastevere food tour in Rome. The food was incredible, the restaurants felt intimate (we got early entry before the general public for a few of them). Her storytelling is top notch and she is fast paced, in the BEST way. When you go to Rome you want to absorb the culture as best as you can in a short amount of time, and this tour was perfect for that. I also felt there was great camaraderie within our group because Toni started by asking everyone to introduce themselves. This led to great conversations with strangers while we ate great food and drank great wine. Toni was also super caring—I didn’t have my evening plans lined up for after the tour, and she asked me, “How are you getting home?” When I told her I wasn’t sure where I was going, she walked me to the nearest taxi pick up to make sure I was safe. As a 29-year-old solo female traveler, I felt so comforted Toni took the time to care for me. THANK YOU TONI YOU AMAZE ME GO OFF QUEEN 😍

Giuseppe was the best host! Full of historical and entertaining facts for every stop and location we passed. This was by far our favorite tour of Italy! We ate delicious foods perfectly paired beverages and heard their significance. We rate this an absolute MUST DO tour and only wish we had done this on out 1st day here!!

We had a wonderful morning exploring the tastes, sights and smells of Testaccio with Walter as our guide. A true foodie, with extensive knowledge of the history of food in Italy. You do not need to eat prior to this tour as you will experience an array of foods along with beer & wine. Don’t miss this fun and delicious taste of Italy!

Amin is the best! His knowledge of the history and culture of Rome made our tour enjoyable and informative. He is personable and communicated with us in a way that allowed us to be comfortable with him. He was attentive to all our needs. At the end of tour, he helped us return to where we were staying. Our favorite moment was when we passed a long line of people waiting at a restaurant and we were served fried artichoke without a long wait. Due to extremely strict time slots for entry into attractions and for food preparation, both in-person & virtual/online, we recommend you show up 15 minutes before the scheduled starting time of the tour or experience. Our group tours begin & depart precisely at the scheduled tour or experience start time. If you show up late or cannot find the meeting point, for any reason, refund requests are not honored per policy. If you are having a hard time arriving on time we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible so we can do everything in our power to assist you with arriving at the meeting point at the scheduled time or reschedule to the next available tour.
CANCELLATION DUE TO PLANES, TRAINS, AUTOMOBILES OR ILLNESS
Inside of 24 hours, your spot on the tour has been reserved exclusively for you. Since we are unable to fill your spot if you’re unable to attend for any reason (including transportation or illness), we do not offer refunds after that time. Please plan ahead so that you are able to join us and don’t miss out!

AMENDMENT POLICY
We would be happy to assist you with rescheduling your tour, free of charge, with any requests made more than 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of the tour. We reserve the right to charge an amendment fee should you request to reschedule within 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of your tour . Once again, this is subject to availability and price changes. In general, we only charge you for any additional costs that we incur such as tickets. We have no intention of profiting from disruptions to your vacation and will work with providers and suppliers to get this cost reduced to a minimum.
