				Friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable guide, amazing food We had such a good time with Bene, he was friendly, very knowledgeable about both Palermo and the food. We happened to be the only people on the tour and he was very easy to chat with. The evening with him showing us Palermo was almost worth it regardless of the food, but the food really was amazing. Fresh, full of flavour and a history of Sicily within it. We made pizza, and enjoyed really great places to eat too. Thank you!

				Wonderful tour, great guide. Innocenzo was a wonderful guide. The tour was thorough with a great deal of history. The food was excellent as well. Great selection of local venues for traditional foods. This tour made a vibrant locale with unfamiliar foods much more approachable. For our first time in Sicily this was a great way to explore and become familiarized.

				Delicious evening Sicilian food tour with Eating Palermo After taking an Eating Europe food tour in Rome last spring, I was hooked and booked an evening food tour with Eating Palermo as soon as I planned our trip to Italy. We were lucky enough to be the only participants that evening, and to have Giusi, who is passionate about Sicilian cuisine, and a lovely person, as our guide and companion. (Giusi is also the site manager for Palermo.) We made five stops in the historic area of Palermo and ate and drank very well - sampling variations on a culinary theme of bread, tomatoes, eggplant (aubergine), and anchovies. We had bruschetta, pizza, sfincone, croquettes, caponata, pasta and delicious wine and a amazing negroni.  I had informed Eating Palermo in advance that my husband is a vegetarian and she had made sure in advance to accommodate us. It was a terrific way to spend a Friday evening in lively Palermo!

				A Nice Way to Explore a New City and New Cuisne We joined Julia (the Italian version of course) for a roaming dinner and wine tour.  We had perhaps 5 or 6 stops and more to eat than one would normally consume.  We covered all the bases at unique locations where we were warmly welcomed and served the classics of Sicily.  Our guide was delightful as were the other members of our small group.  What a nice way to explore a new city with a unique cuisine!

				Enjoyed learning about Palermo We arrived a few minutes late but Innocenzo was there to greet is and take us to the first stop. The food was good at all the places he took us to, but the best part of this tour was learning about the history of Palermo and how it’s influenced thr artchitecture, urban planning, the people and its food. The tour lasted about 1h40 and we were completely stuffed by the end so arrive hungry!

				A small group with big fun Benny was a phenomenal tour guide and made the whole experience feel like a group of old friends were having dinner together. The tour was informational and included bits of history, time spent guessing ingredients in various dishes, and plenty of humor. The food and wine were also fantastic! Would definitely recommend to couples or single travelers in Palermo.

				A holistic to food in Palermo. This was a holistic experience. 

Yes we tasted various delicious Sicilian dishes, and went on a journey of eggplant, tomatoes, anchovies and olive oil, not to mention some fine wine and a cocktail that I'm keeping a secret. You have to join the party to savour this one.

But, we also learnt the history of Palermo, walked vibrant night streets, sat in eclectic restaurants and gazed upon divine architecture.

We also made friends and loved our host Giusi.

A truly lovely food experience in a lovely city.
