Awesome food tour in Palermo We absolutely loved the Eating Palermo Food Tour. Our guide Innocenzo was fantastic, and he took us to lots of really interesting places that were serving delicious, high-quality and authentic street food. Innocenzo explained to us the history and culture of the food we were sampling and interspersed this with stories from his childhood and youth growing up in Palermo. We booked this food tour on our first morning in Palermo. Although the weather provided some challenges, we loved this experience and couldnât recommend it enough. Giusi was a wonderful host and provided an insight into life in Palermo, the cities food culture and its people. We enjoyed multiple stops, lots of delicious food, a guided zigzagging walk through the markets which was thoughtfully organised and the dietary requirements of my wife were negotiated without issue. The âholy cannoliâ were a highlight for my wife whilst I loved Giusiâs passion for her home town, for authentic experiences and great food.

We had a tour today through the markets and side streets with our amazing guide who was so knowledgeable and entertaining with his stories of the amazing history of Palermo. We sampled seven different foods and were very full needing to take some home in a bag for later. Highly recommend this tour to give you a little more insight into where the food originated and why.

During my trip to Palermo, I was lucky enough to join a tour with Giusi, a guide whose experience in America (NYC to be precise) made me feel wonderfully at ease, it felt like home. Her blend of cultures was so present as we explored Palermo's culinary treasures. The highlight for me was being able to make some fresh ricotta, that was amazing! Giusi's deep passion for food and her warm interactions with local partners added a personal touch that I haven't found anywhere else in Palermo. My 3 friends and I had a fantastic food tour in Palermo with Giulia. She took us to some great places - all with special names and we had some delicious food and drinks throughout the whole tour. What we all enjoyed as well was the passion Giulia has about her country and all the food/drinks. She was very knowledgeable and great company so we all made friends at the end.
