This food and art experience is the perfect way for the whole family to have fun in Rome! Far away from the busy areas, you’ll be in a neighborhood popular with the Romans, exploring the local Testaccio food market. This hands-on experience will give you the chance to experience Rome through food and art, providing fun activities for the kids and parents.

Come along on this 3-hour creative and gastronomic journey led by Lisa, an experienced children’s art teacher. You’ll join us for sketching workshops for the family to enjoy together while savoring multiple tastings of typical Roman food. Your family will hunt for the symbols and other things that represent Testaccio and draw them in your sketchbook we provide. You’ll see and sketch street art, historic buildings and fountains, local produce and more. There is artistic inspiration around every corner in Rome!

At the end of this journey the whole family will get to walk away with their own sketchbook, some traditional Roman recipes and of course, a full belly!
