For our first night in Rome we decided to do the Twilight Trastevere Rome Food Tour and it did not disappoint! My husband and I have done several tours with Eating Europe and the Trastevere tour was definitely one of the best. All of the food was delicious and paired with some incredible wine. Walking through Trastevere in the evening was amazing - it’s so different from the main attractions of Rome, but in a good way! Last but not least, we had a wonderful guide. Miri was so kind, shared a lot of history throughout the tour, and made sure everyone in the group was having the best time. Grazie mille Miri!

This tour exceeded our expectations!! Roberta was so patient with teaching us some Italian and our attempts at speaking it. She gave great explanations of all our locations and the history that went along with it. When we asked her to write down what we were eating she was so kind to do that. This tour will leave you full of some of the best Roman food, gelato, wine and beer. Don’t think twice about booking this one. It’s well worth it!

Very fun tour!! Do not use Apple map for meeting point, took us to the river walk and I had to contact the urgent number provided in the email. Had great conversations with the others in the group. It was about 13 of us. All the stops were so great and by the end of the night I was very full! Emiliano was a very nice man, educated and funny tour guide!

Amin is the best! His knowledge of the history and culture of Rome made our tour enjoyable and informative. He is personable and communicated with us in a way that allowed us to be comfortable with him. He was attentive to all our needs. At the end of tour, he helped us return to where we were staying. Our favorite moment was when we passed a long line of people waiting at a restaurant and we were served fried artichoke without a long wait. Because of Amin, we look forward to booking with Eating Europe Food Tours again.

One of our favorite tours in Rome and Florence! Kept the kids very interested and engaged. The tour guide was fantastic! Dario was really great and so interesting. It was worth every penny and we would highly recommend it with kids. Our kids are ages 13, 11, 7, 5 and 1. Normally we’d think we would need a private tour but the tour guide was able to engage the whole group. Loved the history of the area and the background facts on food and culture.

I loved the tour!!!! The places that we go were amazing, I can't say which one were my favorite because all the places and the food were very good! I really enjoyed learning about the history of Trastevere, the restaurants and some of the important monuments like the basilica Santa María de Trastevere. My tour guys Lucas Murphy and Dadive were awesome! They were funny, knowledgeable, and professional, they make the experience very pleasant.

This tour was a highlight of our trip! Toni was a terrific host, she is not only knowledgeable about the food but made us feel like she was a friend showing us around the neighborhood. The owners, chefs, and staff of the stops were all lovely and engaging. Toni seemed to have a great relationship with them. Of course, the food and drink were delicious! I'd definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate to take this tour again and again.

First time in Rome and on a golf cart foodie tour! Walter was very personable, funny, knowledgeable of the food and culture and kept us entertained and engaged. We were able to explore areas we would not have known about, there many hidden gems! It was fun hanging out with other couples and experiencing the local food and wine together. Giuseppe was the best host! Full of historical and entertaining facts for every stop and location we passed. This was by far our favorite tour of Italy! Our group tours begin & depart precisely at the scheduled tour or experience start time. If you show up late or cannot find the meeting point, for any reason, refund requests are not honored per policy. If you are having a hard time arriving on time we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible so we can do everything in our power to assist you with arriving at the meeting point at the scheduled time or reschedule to the next available tour.
CANCELLATION DUE TO PLANES, TRAINS, AUTOMOBILES OR ILLNESS
Inside of 24 hours, your spot on the tour has been reserved exclusively for you. Since we are unable to fill your spot if you’re unable to attend for any reason (including transportation or illness), we do not offer refunds after that time. Please plan ahead so that you are able to join us and don’t miss out!

AMENDMENT POLICY
We would be happy to assist you with rescheduling your tour, free of charge, with any requests made more than 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of the tour. We reserve the right to charge an amendment fee should you request to reschedule within 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of your tour . Once again, this is subject to availability and price changes. In general, we only charge you for any additional costs that we incur such as tickets. We have no intention of profiting from disruptions to your vacation and will work with providers and suppliers to get this cost reduced to a minimum.
