For our first night in Rome we decided to do the Twilight Trastevere Rome Food Tour and it did not disappoint! My husband and I have done several tours with Eating Europe and the Trastevere tour was definitely one of the best. All of the food was delicious and paired with some incredible wine. Walking through Trastevere in the evening was amazing - it’s so different from the main attractions of Rome, but in a good way! Last but not least, we had a wonderful guide. Miri was so kind, shared a lot of history throughout the tour, and made sure everyone in the group was having the best time. Grazie mille Miri!

Did an amazing tour with Amin! The group was a total of 6 tourists, and we were from around the world. The food was great at each place, and you won’t leave hungry. Plenty to drink as well. Accommodations were made for me, as I don’t drink alcohol, and I didn’t feel left out at all! The tour guide and the company were the highlights of the trip. I highly recommend this tour and highly recommend Amin as a guide! It is a great introduction to the city! Thank you for such an amazing time!

A very interesting and enjoyable tour guided by the very entertaining and amusing Luca (Murphy.) A very nice combination of good food, good wine and Roman history with a nicely sized group of eleven.people sampling food at seven varied stops. My wife and I had a wonderful evening and can highly recommend this tour.

If you’re looking for an unforgettable way to experience Rome, this food tour is an absolute must! We visited seven different spots, each offering something unique and delicious, from classic Roman pasta dishes to incredible street food and, of course, gelato to finish things off. Our guide, Davide, was awesome —knowledgeable, engaging, attentive and great sense of humor. He went out of his way to make it a personable and great experience. He clearly has a passion for Italian cuisine. On the way to one of the restaurants, he greeted some friends who allowed us to cut thru a back alley where they were filming some war movie. Pretty neat experience. He also gave us great recommendations for some wine tours in Tuscany. Looking forward to tasting more delicious wine. Tips for the tour- come hungry and wear good shoes…lots of walking but the exercise is needed to work up an appetite between destinations. Grazie, Davide, for an amazing time—this was easily one of the highlights of our trip!

One of my favorite things we’ve done in Italy! Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and sociable. We had 7 stops altogether and everything we ate was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. It was really cool to be able to learn more about Trastevere and the history of the area. Would absolutely do this again, 10/10 recommend!!

Dalia was the most amazing tour guide!! We loved our twilight food & wine tour through Trastevere tonight (3/22/25). She was very knowledgeable about the history of the beautiful neighborhood and also shared her passion for authentic Italian cuisine and wine. We had a wonderful morning exploring the tastes, sights and smells of Testaccio with Walter as our guide. A true foodie, with extensive knowledge of the history of food in Italy. You do not need to eat prior to this tour as you will experience an array of foods along with beer & wine. Don’t miss this fun and delicious taste of Italy!

Davide was an incredible guide!
We joined his food tour and cooking class, and it was such a memorable experience from start to finish. We began with a visit to a local shop to pick out our ingredients, where Davide shared the rich history and traditions behind each one, plus a few delicious tastings along the way!
Then we headed to the kitchen to make his grandmother’s pasta recipes, fettuccine and ravioli, completely from scratch. And of course, we got to enjoy everything we made! Absolutely delicious!
Highly recommend booking this experience with Davide. It’s the perfect way to immerse yourself in pasta, tradition, and fun!

We had such a wonderful time during our pasta-making class with Leo and Marielle in Trastevere! From the moment we arrived, Leo made us feel welcome and created a fun, relaxed atmosphere. His passion for Italian cuisine and culture really came through, and he was incredibly knowable and engaging throughout the experience.
The class was hands-on, informative, and—most importantly—delicious! We learned how to make pasta from scratch, enjoyed some amazing food, and got to connect with others in a beautiful Roman setting. It was truly a highlight of our trip to Rome.

Valentina made our Eating Europe food tour truly unforgettable for me and my husband. From the moment we met her, she was warm, welcoming, and full of energy. Her passion for the local food and history was infectious—you could tell she genuinely loves what she does. She didn’t just guide us through the stops, she told stories, shared little-known facts, and made us feel like we were discovering the city with a local friend. Every bite tasted better thanks to the context she gave, and she made sure everyone felt included and taken care of. We both walked away with full stomachs and even fuller hearts. Due to extremely strict time slots for entry into attractions and for food preparation, both in-person & virtual/online, we recommend you show up 15 minutes before the scheduled starting time of the tour or experience. Our group tours begin & depart precisely at the scheduled tour or experience start time. If you show up late or cannot find the meeting point, for any reason, refund requests are not honored per policy. If you are having a hard time arriving on time we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible so we can do everything in our power to assist you with arriving at the meeting point at the scheduled time or reschedule to the next available tour.
CANCELLATION DUE TO PLANES, TRAINS, AUTOMOBILES OR ILLNESS
Inside of 24 hours, your spot on the tour has been reserved exclusively for you. Since we are unable to fill your spot if you’re unable to attend for any reason (including transportation or illness), we do not offer refunds after that time. Please plan ahead so that you are able to join us and don’t miss out!

AMENDMENT POLICY
We would be happy to assist you with rescheduling your tour, free of charge, with any requests made more than 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of the tour. We reserve the right to charge an amendment fee should you request to reschedule within 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of your tour . Once again, this is subject to availability and price changes. In general, we only charge you for any additional costs that we incur such as tickets. We have no intention of profiting from disruptions to your vacation and will work with providers and suppliers to get this cost reduced to a minimum.
