This was a wonderful tour that gave you just enough food and drinks at each location with history and or context to add a level of appreciation vs walking up to the place on your own. Adding to the food and wonderful environment was our guide Leo (Leonardo). He was a wonderful knowledgeable guide with great tips on local beer stop to hit up after the tour. He gave guidance leveraging his years of working with craft beer for 2 great stops that have such variety it was our next stop after the tour. Worth booking for the whole experience and knowledge that's hard to get outside of personal interaction.

Dalia was the most amazing tour guide!! We loved our twilight food & wine tour through Trastevere tonight (3/22/25). She was very knowledgeable about the history of the beautiful neighborhood and also shared her passion for authentic Italian cuisine and wine. Toni was an absolutely superb tour guide for the Trastevere food tour in Rome. The food was incredible, the restaurants felt intimate (we got early entry before the general public for a few of them). Her storytelling is top notch and she is fast paced, in the BEST way. When you go to Rome you want to absorb the culture as best as you can in a short amount of time, and this tour was perfect for that. I also felt there was great camaraderie within our group because Toni started by asking everyone to introduce themselves. This led to great conversations with strangers while we ate great food and drank great wine. Toni was also super caring—I didn’t have my evening plans lined up for after the tour, and she asked me, “How are you getting home?” When I told her I wasn’t sure where I was going, she walked me to the nearest taxi pick up to make sure I was safe. As a 29-year-old solo female traveler, I felt so comforted Toni took the time to care for me. THANK YOU TONI YOU AMAZE ME GO OFF QUEEN 😍

This tour exceeded our expectations!! Roberta was so patient with teaching us some Italian and our attempts at speaking it. She gave great explanations of all our locations and the history that went along with it. When we asked her to write down what we were eating she was so kind to do that. This tour will leave you full of some of the best Roman food, gelato, wine and beer. Don’t think twice about booking this one. It’s well worth it!

Did an amazing tour with Amin! The group was a total of 6 tourists, and we were from around the world. The food was great at each place, and you won’t leave hungry. Plenty to drink as well. Accommodations were made for me, as I don’t drink alcohol, and I didn’t feel left out at all! The tour guide and the company were the highlights of the trip. I highly recommend this tour and highly recommend Amin as a guide! It is a great introduction to the city! Thank you for such an amazing time!

Such a fantastic experience! The food and wine was amazing! The history we learned was so much fun. We visited a wine cellar in an old Roman house from 80BC underneath a restaurant where we ate a pork stew made from a recipe exactly from a covenant from Julius Caesar’s personal chef. Perfect experience and highlight of our trip to Rome! Our guide, Luca Murphy, was wonderful!

We recently did an evening tour with Giorgia and felt an instant connection from the start. Giorgia was a wealth of knowledge on not only the food culture of Roma but also the rich layers of history it was built on. We were treated to some special service from many popular spots that had people lining up to dine outside. Stopping to learn about ancient ruins and the meaning behind many of the religious symbols along the way. All of our questions were answered and after finishing of with a delicious gelato we were left feeling full and happy. We would thoroughly recommend this tour and be sure to ask for Giorgia a true Italian.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience with Rome Trastevere Food Tour at Twilight, with our guide Leonardo. It was amazing - the food was great - 7 or 8 stops at different restaurants and delis, including multiple courses and wines. And Leonardo was the best host - extremely knowledgeable about food and wine, as well as being very engaging and personable. We highly recommend if you want a fun evening exploring the food and wines of Italy, in beautiful surroundings!

This walking food tour was superb. Our tour guide Toni was super knowledgeable and passionate about Italian food. She had wonderful relationships with the proprietors of the places we visited and they all welcomed us warmly. I did it the same day I arrived from Australia, so was struggling a bit with jet lag, but her infectious energy carried me through! I highly recommend doing this tour!

Our group tours begin & depart precisely at the scheduled tour or experience start time. If you show up late or cannot find the meeting point, for any reason, refund requests are not honored per policy. If you are having a hard time arriving on time we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible so we can do everything in our power to assist you with arriving at the meeting point at the scheduled time or reschedule to the next available tour.
CANCELLATION DUE TO PLANES, TRAINS, AUTOMOBILES OR ILLNESS
Inside of 24 hours, your spot on the tour has been reserved exclusively for you. Since we are unable to fill your spot if you’re unable to attend for any reason (including transportation or illness), we do not offer refunds after that time. Please plan ahead so that you are able to join us and don’t miss out!

AMENDMENT POLICY
We would be happy to assist you with rescheduling your tour, free of charge, with any requests made more than 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of the tour. We reserve the right to charge an amendment fee should you request to reschedule within 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of your tour . Once again, this is subject to availability and price changes. In general, we only charge you for any additional costs that we incur such as tickets. We have no intention of profiting from disruptions to your vacation and will work with providers and suppliers to get this cost reduced to a minimum.
