I loved the tour!!!! The places that we go were amazing, I can't say which one were my favorite because all the places and the food were very good! I really enjoyed learning about the history of Trastevere, the restaurants and some of the important monuments like the basilica Santa María de Trastevere. My tour guys Lucas Murphy and Dadive were awesome! They were funny, knowledgeable, and professional, they make the experience very pleasant.

We had a fantastic food and wine tour with Fabio!! All the food and drinks were outstanding, particularly the Tiramisu at Angelinas. Fabio’s ability to impart his knowledge of the history of Italy in general, the particular areas we visited and the food and wine made this one of my favorite tours of Rome.

Had a wonderful time on the Twilight Trastevere tour! The tour guide, Toni, was absolutely awesome. She was so informative, personable, and at each stop she seemed to know every staff member as a friend. The food was great, the history was great, the "what to watch out for" and general Rome tips were the best. The group we were with was great to speak with. And by the end we were so full! I would definitely recommend this tour to a friend, and would reserve another tour in another European city after this!

For our first night in Rome we decided to do the Twilight Trastevere Rome Food Tour and it did not disappoint! My husband and I have done several tours with Eating Europe and the Trastevere tour was definitely one of the best. All of the food was delicious and paired with some incredible wine. Walking through Trastevere in the evening was amazing - it’s so different from the main attractions of Rome, but in a good way! Last but not least, we had a wonderful guide. Miri was so kind, shared a lot of history throughout the tour, and made sure everyone in the group was having the best time. Grazie mille Miri!

We enjoy local food tours and found this tour with Walter (from Australia) to be interesting and very informative. Walter is also a professional chef so not only did he provide interesting details of the historic areas as we walked but also gave a lot of great insight of the food and cooking techniques. Would we tour again with Walter, YES!, without any hesitation. You definitely should book a tour with him because he is so good!

If you’re looking for an unforgettable way to experience Rome, this food tour is an absolute must! We visited seven different spots, each offering something unique and delicious, from classic Roman pasta dishes to incredible street food and, of course, gelato to finish things off. Our guide, Davide, was awesome —knowledgeable, engaging, attentive and great sense of humor. He went out of his way to make it a personable and great experience. He clearly has a passion for Italian cuisine. On the way to one of the restaurants, he greeted some friends who allowed us to cut thru a back alley where they were filming some war movie. Pretty neat experience. He also gave us great recommendations for some wine tours in Tuscany. Looking forward to tasting more delicious wine. Tips for the tour- come hungry and wear good shoes…lots of walking but the exercise is needed to work up an appetite between destinations. Grazie, Davide, for an amazing time—this was easily one of the highlights of our trip!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience with Rome Trastevere Food Tour at Twilight, with our guide Leonardo. It was amazing - the food was great - 7 or 8 stops at different restaurants and delis, including multiple courses and wines. And Leonardo was the best host - extremely knowledgeable about food and wine, as well as being very engaging and personable. We highly recommend if you want a fun evening exploring the food and wines of Italy, in beautiful surroundings!

Our group tours begin & depart precisely at the scheduled tour or experience start time. If you show up late or cannot find the meeting point, for any reason, refund requests are not honored per policy. If you are having a hard time arriving on time we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible so we can do everything in our power to assist you with arriving at the meeting point at the scheduled time or reschedule to the next available tour.
CANCELLATION DUE TO PLANES, TRAINS, AUTOMOBILES OR ILLNESS
Inside of 24 hours, your spot on the tour has been reserved exclusively for you. Since we are unable to fill your spot if you’re unable to attend for any reason (including transportation or illness), we do not offer refunds after that time. Please plan ahead so that you are able to join us and don’t miss out!

AMENDMENT POLICY
We would be happy to assist you with rescheduling your tour, free of charge, with any requests made more than 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of the tour. We reserve the right to charge an amendment fee should you request to reschedule within 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of your tour . Once again, this is subject to availability and price changes. In general, we only charge you for any additional costs that we incur such as tickets. We have no intention of profiting from disruptions to your vacation and will work with providers and suppliers to get this cost reduced to a minimum.
