We had such a wonderful time during our pasta-making class with Leo and Marielle in Trastevere! From the moment we arrived, Leo made us feel welcome and created a fun, relaxed atmosphere. His passion for Italian cuisine and culture really came through, and he was incredibly knowable and engaging throughout the experience.
The class was hands-on, informative, and—most importantly—delicious! We learned how to make pasta from scratch, enjoyed some amazing food, and got to connect with others in a beautiful Roman setting. It was truly a highlight of our trip to Rome.
Highly recommend this experience with Eating Europe, especially if you get Leo as your guide. Grazie mille, Leo!

What a fantastic evening we had to end our trip to Rome. Going to lovely quaint family run restaurants trying a variety of different foods and wines. Our host Martina was just fabulous great local knowledge and a great personality ( Lish says enjoy New York) from the first circle of truth to the last. Meet some lovely people as well. We had a wonderful morning exploring the tastes, sights and smells of Testaccio with Walter as our guide. A true foodie, with extensive knowledge of the history of food in Italy. You do not need to eat prior to this tour as you will experience an array of foods along with beer & wine. Don’t miss this fun and delicious taste of Italy!

Just finished a walking food tour with Leo. It was the best experience and couldn't recommend it more. I absolutely loved this tour! As a self-proclaimed foodie, I can attest to the quality of everything we tasted! We stopped at 6 or 7 places (I've already lost track!), and I loved all of them. If I really had to choose, I would say da Enzo, Il Spirito di Vino, and L'Elementare were my top 3, but I'd go back to any of them! Valéria was a fantastic tour guide. I would highly recommend booking the tour with her!

We had such a great time on the tour with Luca Murphy as our guide. The food and drink were great and Luca made this tour even better. His combination of humor and knowledge made this an outstanding evening for our group. By far the best way to learn about Rome and enjoy some of the best food and drinks that Rome has to offer. Delicious and Fun! This was an excellent activity for our last day in Rome and the last day of our honeymoon! Though we wish we did it at the beginning of our time here so we could go back to so many of the stops! Every single stop had delicious food with generous portions and many had wine or beer as well! Miri was a fantastic tour guide- kind, fun, enthusiastic and knowledgeable! We would definitely recommend and wish we could do the whole tour again!

Due to extremely strict time slots for entry into attractions and for food preparation, both in-person & virtual/online, we recommend you show up 15 minutes before the scheduled starting time of the tour or experience. Our group tours begin & depart precisely at the scheduled tour or experience start time. If you show up late or cannot find the meeting point, for any reason, refund requests are not honored per policy. If you are having a hard time arriving on time we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible so we can do everything in our power to assist you with arriving at the meeting point at the scheduled time or reschedule to the next available tour.
CANCELLATION DUE TO PLANES, TRAINS, AUTOMOBILES OR ILLNESS
Inside of 24 hours, your spot on the tour has been reserved exclusively for you. Since we are unable to fill your spot if you’re unable to attend for any reason (including transportation or illness), we do not offer refunds after that time. Please plan ahead so that you are able to join us and don’t miss out!

AMENDMENT POLICY
We would be happy to assist you with rescheduling your tour, free of charge, with any requests made more than 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of the tour. We reserve the right to charge an amendment fee should you request to reschedule within 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of your tour . Once again, this is subject to availability and price changes. In general, we only charge you for any additional costs that we incur such as tickets. We have no intention of profiting from disruptions to your vacation and will work with providers and suppliers to get this cost reduced to a minimum.
