Strasbourg has held its world-famous ‘Christkindelsmärik’ Christmas market every year since 1570. Now one of the oldest Christmas markets in Europe, it attracts thousands of visitors who flock here each winter to shop hand-made decorations, admire grand fairy-light installations and bask in its fairytale atmosphere. 

We invite you to rediscover the magic of the festive season on this interactive, family-friendly food experience through some of Strasbourg’s best Christmas markets. We’ll take you to our favourite spots for traditional Alsatian food and stop for a mulled wine-tasting along the way. Your local guide will point out the most respected craftsmen in the area and share insider tips on how to find the best stalls for gift shopping as you stroll.
