A truly wonderful and fun experience. We were a small and intimate group with our guide, Elisa (Eli). She was absolutely outstanding and so much fun! You can tell how passionate she is about Florence and supporting local businesses. The tour itself was so unique and very well paced! We were very lucky to have such a local experience and trying the quintessential dishes of Tuscan/Florentine cuisine. We especially were very lucky to have tried beautiful wine from a very lovely and passionate wine producer. Thank you to Marco for his generosity and kindness! The essential Florence Foodie Tour Outstanding and beyond my expectations! Elisa (Eli) was absolutely wonderful and so passionate about the tour and Florence. I loved every places she took us too. I had an amazing experience with the Eating Europe food tour in Florence! Our guide, Sara P., was absolutely fantastic — so charismatic, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun to be around. It felt like walking through the city with a local friend rather than being on a tour.
She took us to so many authentic local gems that I never would have found on my own. Everywhere we went, people clearly knew her, which made the experience feel even more special and truly local. Sarah shared so many funny stories and cultural insights — the kind of little details and traditions only locals know — which made the food and the city come alive.
The food was incredible and plentiful: a wide variety of appetizers, delicious local wines, a perfectly made Negroni, hearty main dishes, and even a traditional soup. Everything was thoughtfully curated and gave us a real taste of Florence.
I also loved meeting so many great people on the tour — the atmosphere was relaxed, social, and full of laughter. I had so much fun and would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Florence. It was one of the highlights of my trip!

1st taste of Florence through through excellent food tour experience Loved this experience! I've found in my travels that Eating Europe really nails it with the food tours no matter the country and this was no different. Elisa was fantastic. So much personality and energy, kept the vibe of our 3.5 hours spent together spirited and lively. I love that they hire locals to lead these tours because with that comes a personal touch, woven into the storytellings and making each stop that much more special. She covered a lot of ground and we stopped by places I would never have thought to on my own, that you could tell are frequented by locals.I believe the 'VIP' aspect was via the 3-wine tasting we had in a cellar of a winery (which was fantastic) and truffle pasta + Florentine steak experience. If that sounds good to you, this is the way to go! Otherwise, as their tour are always small group formats, the other option I'm sure is also quite good.

Due to extremely strict time slots for entry into attractions and for food preparation, both in-person & virtual/online, we recommend you show up 15 minutes before the scheduled starting time of the tour or experience. Our group tours begin & depart precisely at the scheduled tour or experience start time. If you show up late or cannot find the meeting point, for any reason, refund requests are not honored per policy. If you are having a hard time arriving on time we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible so we can do everything in our power to assist you with arriving at the meeting point at the scheduled time or reschedule to the next available tour.
CANCELLATION DUE TO PLANES, TRAINS, AUTOMOBILES OR ILLNESS
Inside of 24 hours, your spot on the tour has been reserved exclusively for you. Since we are unable to fill your spot if you’re unable to attend for any reason (including transportation or illness), we do not offer refunds after that time. Please plan ahead so that you are able to join us and don’t miss out!

AMENDMENT POLICY
We would be happy to assist you with rescheduling your tour, free of charge, with any requests made more than 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of the tour. We reserve the right to charge an amendment fee should you request to reschedule within 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of your tour . Once again, this is subject to availability and price changes. In general, we only charge you for any additional costs that we incur such as tickets. We have no intention of profiting from disruptions to your vacation and will work with providers and suppliers to get this cost reduced to a minimum.
