Leave the city behind and enjoy a day in the countryside hunting delectable truffles and enjoying an authentic Tuscan feast. After a ride through the picturesque Tuscan hills, meet up with your team of truffle hunters (including some four-legged friends) at a breathtaking century-old farm. Let your trusty hunting dogs sniff out these amazing delicacies while you learn the storied history of truffle hunting in Tuscany.
We had a great time hunting for truffles with our guide and the sweetest dog, Choco. They welcomed us into their house and gave us delicious food. Would highly recommend the private truffle hunt!

Amazing culinary experience! Wow. We absolutely loved this experience! We wanted to do something a little different this time in Florence & Tuscany, and this was the perfect outing. Francesca was so welcoming and interesting, explaining all about truffle hunting to us and keeping Choco, our hunting dog, focused!! Our homemade lunch could not have been more delicious, and was definitely the best meal of the trip! The house was beautiful and made the experience feel very special, and our ride to and from Florence was very comfortable. I could not recommend this activity enough!!

I’ve done a lot of food tours but our food tour of Florence with Alice was one of the best ever!! We were shown an authentic Florentine experience with so many types of wine, Negroni and food! Would recommend you come hungry! Alice was such an amazing host - keeping us all excited while we were in a food coma and so factual about the food and wine and region. So passionate!! Would book without a doubt - well worth the money and you will leave sated and happy and full of facts about the area.

What a fantastic experience. Serena was a great tour guide, explaining in detail the origins of the different food, wines, and cocktails that we tasted. We learned so much about Florentine food and met many of the local proprietors who made it for us. I can’t recommend this tour enough. Wow! What an incredible tour - the value of this tour was unmatched. Our guide was incredible (I am bad with names I wish I remembered - our tour was last night at 5pm). We learned so much. We ate so much (everything was delicious). We are in Florence for a month and this was one of our best tours to date - - even if we were only visiting a few days, I would still prioritize this tour (can’t beat the option of learning and eating all in one tour). We brought our kids and the guide was so kind to them and included them, thank you! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience on the Evening Food and Wine Tour with Eating Europe in Florence. From the moment we met our guide, everything felt welcoming and well organized. We enjoyed welcome drinks and we were all given the chance to introduce ourselves.
The tour took us through some hidden gems and authentic spots that we probably would not have found on our own. Each stop had its own unique atmosphere, and we got to taste a variety of specialties from cheeses and cold cuts to pasta and gelato. The wine tasting was also great and it had different varieties including a stop at a wine window.
Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, fun, and passionate about Florentine food culture. She shared some local insights that added so much more depth to what we were experiencing. I unfortunately can’t remember her name but she is in some of these photos. A special thank you to her for making this night so fun and memorable.
The pace was perfect, relaxed and the small group size made it easy to chat, enjoy, and ask questions. We felt like we’d just had dinner with new friends while learning a lot about Florence especially the culinary traditions and some history.
I highly recommend this tour. It was a delicious, memorable evening from start to finish!

Excellent tour. Caterina was a kind, friendly, knowledgeable and gracious host. Six “insider” restaurants, hidden wine windows, and bars we would not have been able to find on our own. Also, so nice that the tour focused on a less touristy area of Dlorence, and introduced us to some remarkable local artisans. Great historical overview of the city as well. Attentive to dietary restrictions. Highly recommended.

We spent two weeks in Italy and this was hands down our favourite thing we did the entire time. Alice was great, she kept the energy up the whole time and made the tour very fun. She took us around shops and markets where all the providers knew each other, it was such a delightful display of Italian hospitality, they truly made us feel like family. We’ve done around a dozen food tours with other companies and this is by far the most generous with so many tastings and samples. We paid for a group tour but were very lucky to be the only ones booked so we ended up with a private tour! So many other tour companies would cancel with low numbers but not this one. Going forward, we will be doing an Eating Europe food tour in every city we can!

Inside of 24 hours, your spot on the tour has been reserved exclusively for you. Since we are unable to fill your spot if you’re unable to attend for any reason (including transportation or illness), we do not offer refunds after that time. Please plan ahead so that you are able to join us and don’t miss out!

We would be happy to assist you with rescheduling your tour, free of charge, with any requests made more than 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of the tour. We reserve the right to charge an amendment fee should you request to reschedule within 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of your tour . Once again, this is subject to availability and price changes. In general, we only charge you for any additional costs that we incur such as tickets. We have no intention of profiting from disruptions to your vacation and will work with providers and suppliers to get this cost reduced to a minimum.
