Pizza Perfect Alessandra was a wonderful host! She was a clear communicator and has a natural way with people. Alessandra provided a good balance of walking, standing and sitting, as well as a good balance of info about history and the food. We learned a lot! The food was excellent and very generous, including the drinks! I highly recommend the tour to anyone who wants to learn about pizza, Neapolitan pizza varieties, and some history of Napoli!

Great experience ! Worth every penny! We had a wonderful time! I felt it would be nice to do it the evening we arrived to Napoli instaed of walking around without any idea of the city we got to understand downtown Napoli . Even the history!
We tried some unusual delicious pizzas that if I would had not taken this experience I. would had missed them all my life.
Alessandra Maffettone was great! she went a step ahead explaining all our doubts ! I wi take more tours of Eating Europe!

Our guide was great Our guide was Alessandra. (spelling might not be correct) She was awesome. Spoke great English. Was very knowledgeable and helpful and taught us ot of pizza history but also Naples history.
Would highly recommend her.
The only negative (which is the company's issue, not hers, is that the instructional email included only a meeting address, not a business name. Unfortunately, that address # wasn't listed on the building. We were confident we were in the right place but it was still confusing. It all worked out fine. I'm sure it has been addressed with the company.

A Must Do Tour In Naples What an amazingly intimate experience in Naples! We tried everything from the most iconic pastries, wine from Vesuvius, homemade limoncello, to making our own pizza napoletana. Then we went to Fabrizio’s (our guide) mother’s home for some more wine, food and an intimate cultural experience. Fabrizio was an amazing guide and I really loved meeting his mother and learning more about this incredible city. This is a must do!

We had such a great experience on this food tour! The food was delicious from start to finish, and each stop was better than the last. Our guide, Alessandra, was truly fantastic—she was knowledgeable, warm, and engaging. The historical facts and stories she shared along the way added so much depth to the experience and made the tour more than just a food crawl.
Alessandra also did a wonderful job keeping the group together and made sure we were walking at a pace that worked for everyone, which was especially thoughtful given that we had some older folks in our group. This is definitely a walking tour, so be prepared to move—but it’s absolutely worth it.
After our final stop for gelato, Alessandra explained clearly how to get back to the ship and gave us the option to explore or shop a bit on our own. We were literally just around the corner from the ship, so it was super easy. Some people complained that she didn’t walk us back, but honestly, I think they were just looking for something to gripe about—everything else about the tour was spot-on.
Personally, I appreciated the flexibility and the chance to wander a bit before heading back. Overall, an incredible experience with a top-notch guide. Would absolutely recommend!

Since we are unable to fill your spot if you’re unable to attend for any reason (including transportation or illness), we do not offer refunds after that time. We reserve the right to charge an amendment fee should you request to reschedule within 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of your tour . Once again, this is subject to availability and price changes. In general, we only charge you for any additional costs that we incur such as tickets. We have no intention of profiting from disruptions to your vacation and will work with providers and suppliers to get this cost reduced to a minimum.
