The Only Rome Food Tour with a Pasta Making Class.
This tour is A MUST!!! My husband, and two teenage sons took this tour last week and we all agreed it was our absolute favorite tour of the week (we did a tour a day for 5 days)!
Can’t choose between a Rome Food Tour and a Rome Pasta Making Class? Now you don’t have to! Trastevere for Foodies is the only food tour that includes a pasta making experience. So that you can make your pasta and eat it too! Breakfast in Rome is sweet and…when in Rome, do as the Romans do, right?
First, your food tour starts with a “beignet”, a delicious sweet cream puff, paired with a cappuccino or espresso. Our chef will guide you through Trastevere to some favorite local spots for iconic dishes like Porchetta, Suppli and cheeses like Pecorino Romano and Parmigiano Reggiano. The next stop is the beautiful San Cosimato Food Market. You’ll meet the vendors and taste some seasonal local delicacies. After that, you will walk to the old school trattoria Rione XIII to finally get your hands in the dough!
Any good pasta making class needs good wine, and with this experience you’ll drink all the wine you want! Your guide will teach you all the secrets to make perfect fresh pasta. You and the fellow travelers will have fun making your own fettuccine and then you will sit down to enjoy this homemade meal! To end on a high note, you will head to our favorite gelateria to enjoy the finest organic gelato in Rome.
