Toni was an absolutely superb tour guide for the Trastevere food tour in Rome. The food was incredible, the restaurants felt intimate (we got early entry before the general public for a few of them). Her storytelling is top notch and she is fast paced, in the BEST way. When you go to Rome you want to absorb the culture as best as you can in a short amount of time, and this tour was perfect for that. I also felt there was great camaraderie within our group because Toni started by asking everyone to introduce themselves. This led to great conversations with strangers while we ate great food and drank great wine. Toni was also super caring—I didn’t have my evening plans lined up for after the tour, and she asked me, “How are you getting home?” When I told her I wasn’t sure where I was going, she walked me to the nearest taxi pick up to make sure I was safe. As a 29-year-old solo female traveler, I felt so comforted Toni took the time to care for me. THANK YOU TONI YOU AMAZE ME GO OFF QUEEN 😍

Delicious and Fun! This was an excellent activity for our last day in Rome and the last day of our honeymoon! Though we wish we did it at the beginning of our time here so we could go back to so many of the stops! Every single stop had delicious food with generous portions and many had wine or beer as well! Miri was a fantastic tour guide- kind, fun, enthusiastic and knowledgeable! We would definitely recommend and wish we could do the whole tour again!

For our first night in Rome we decided to do the Twilight Trastevere Rome Food Tour and it did not disappoint! My husband and I have done several tours with Eating Europe and the Trastevere tour was definitely one of the best. All of the food was delicious and paired with some incredible wine. Walking through Trastevere in the evening was amazing - it’s so different from the main attractions of Rome, but in a good way! Last but not least, we had a wonderful guide. Miri was so kind, shared a lot of history throughout the tour, and made sure everyone in the group was having the best time. Grazie mille Miri!

This tour was fantastic! Our Tour guide, Riccardo, was incredible. Down to earth, and knows his history! He also gave us the history of the foods and culture. We took the 6 pm tour and it ended right around 10 pm. More than enough food and drink. Loved everything about it. Highly recommend this tour with Riccardo if possible!

Miri is fabulous! We had the best time exploring Travastere. That porchetta stop and the ‘King’ can’t be missed. You get to go VIP pass to super fun places (Da Enzo in particular). It was my boy-friend’s first good tour ever and he was impressed with how much he learned along the way in addition to the excellent food & drink!

Our tour with Francesca was wonderful! She was delightful and charming and so fun to spend the evening with. We learned a lot about traditional Roman (don’t call it Italian!) dining. The places we visited were fantastic and I just wish I could have eaten more - it was all molto delicioso!

Such a bonus to kick off our Italian vacay with this Trastevere food and wine tour. All the stops were different and specialized to local foods. Our guide Leo was also a highlight! Did an amazing tour with Amin! The group was a total of 6 tourists, and we were from around the world. The food was great at each place, and you won’t leave hungry. Plenty to drink as well. Accommodations were made for me, as I don’t drink alcohol, and I didn’t feel left out at all! The tour guide and the company were the highlights of the trip. I highly recommend this tour and highly recommend Amin as a guide! It is a great introduction to the city! Thank you for such an amazing time!

Dalia was the most amazing tour guide!! We loved our twilight food & wine tour through Trastevere tonight (3/22/25). She was very knowledgeable about the history of the beautiful neighborhood and also shared her passion for authentic Italian cuisine and wine. We took the Eternal Rome: Jewish Ghetto, Campo de' Fiori and Trastevere tour with a wonderful guide, Riccardo. He explained the history of each district and the food we tasted along the way. The food and drink was plentiful and the stops were well-spaced between walks so we were never too full. We had taken this tour during our last visit to Rome and Riccardo kindly called ahead to the restaurants so our menu was different this time. This is a great way to get a deeper dive into a city beyond the major tourist attractions. Do not eat before these tours!!!

Our group tours begin & depart precisely at the scheduled tour or experience start time. If you show up late or cannot find the meeting point, for any reason, refund requests are not honored per policy. If you are having a hard time arriving on time we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible so we can do everything in our power to assist you with arriving at the meeting point at the scheduled time or reschedule to the next available tour.
CANCELLATION DUE TO PLANES, TRAINS, AUTOMOBILES OR ILLNESS
Inside of 24 hours, your spot on the tour has been reserved exclusively for you. Since we are unable to fill your spot if you’re unable to attend for any reason (including transportation or illness), we do not offer refunds after that time. Please plan ahead so that you are able to join us and don’t miss out!

AMENDMENT POLICY
We would be happy to assist you with rescheduling your tour, free of charge, with any requests made more than 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of the tour. We reserve the right to charge an amendment fee should you request to reschedule within 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of your tour . Once again, this is subject to availability and price changes. In general, we only charge you for any additional costs that we incur such as tickets. We have no intention of profiting from disruptions to your vacation and will work with providers and suppliers to get this cost reduced to a minimum.
