We just finished our foodies tour with Kat & had more fun than I can describe. One of the best tours I’ve ever been in. Kat was fluent in English and made every moment fun. The wine flowed and the food stops were all local and very good. When making our own pasta she explained everything perfectly and made everyone feel included and that they were doing it well. I would recommend a tour with her any day.

Italian food and tradition at its finest! We met our guide, Valentina (Val), at the designated location and proceeded back into Trastevere. We were delighted that a group of 7 people had cancelled, so there were only 5 of us in the group. Val told us about herself and led us to 7 different locations, where we sampled different foods and wines. Trastevere is such an interesting location in Rome. Starting with two kinds of bruschetta served with Prosecco, we proceeded through a second course of pork stew served with a red wine; fresh cookies at a bakery; Bufala cheese on bread and a sampling of porchetta with another red wine at a deli type establishment; "suplie" - rice balls stuffed with a surprise stuffing, in our case cheese, served with beer; then a dinner sized serving of rigatoni Amitriciana and rigatoni Cacio e Pepe, served with a red wine. Our final stop was at a Gelateria, where we our choice of authentic Italian gelato! All of this was expertly explained and annotated with Italian tradition descriptions by our wonderful Val! The pace was leisurely, and the tour took three hours. We would recommend this tour to anyone who wanted to acquaint themselves with traditional Italian foods, wines and Italian dining traditions. Do ask for Val - she was amazing!

The was a fantastic experience! From the very beginning, I felt right at home. Giuseppe (our guide!) was super passionate and managed to connect everyone, despite our different ages and backgrounds. Each stop was an opportunity to discover the flavors and stories of Roman tradition. If you want to truly get to know Rome and have fun with great company, I highly recommend this tour! Leo is a fantastic guide, personal, funny, knowledgeable and he made sure that we were all well cared. He made it an great experience. The twilight tour included 6 amazing stops. Be sure you are hungry there is no shortage of delicious food and libations on this tour. We were impressed and very happy with this tour.

This walking food tour was superb. Our tour guide Toni was super knowledgeable and passionate about Italian food. She had wonderful relationships with the proprietors of the places we visited and they all welcomed us warmly. I did it the same day I arrived from Australia, so was struggling a bit with jet lag, but her infectious energy carried me through! I highly recommend doing this tour!

This was a wonderful tour that gave you just enough food and drinks at each location with history and or context to add a level of appreciation vs walking up to the place on your own. Adding to the food and wonderful environment was our guide Leo (Leonardo). He was a wonderful knowledgeable guide with great tips on local beer stop to hit up after the tour. He gave guidance leveraging his years of working with craft beer for 2 great stops that have such variety it was our next stop after the tour. Worth booking for the whole experience and knowledge that's hard to get outside of personal interaction.

A great tour. Walter was amazing and a great host for this tour. The deli was a great place to start and also where fresh ingredients were picked up for our pasta making. The pasta making was simple and Walter was a great chef. The meal with our tour group was like eating with friends. Gelato to finish it off was the perfect end to the tour. Highly recommend.

Dalia was AMAZING! I really enjoyed the whole tour. She took time to show us all the sites. She was very accommodating for our kids who were with us and made it a fun event for them. they both (16 and 11) walked away saying it was one of the funnest things we had done this trip. Thank you for a magical night that will forever be a favorite memory of our whole family.

Best last minute decision of my trip! This tour came highly recommended on the TA Rome forum, so I booked without hesitation when I saw there was a single spot left for that afternoon (the benefit of travelling off season!)
Within the space of 30 minutes, everyone was getting along and swapping life stories.
Over the space of 4 hours, Emigliano, our guide, gave us a thoroughly enjoyable tour of Trastevere and its food treats. Everything we tried was delicious, and we were both educated and entertained throughout the night. We didn’t want the night to end!
I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Eating Europe again.

Toni Brancatisono brought our food tour to life with rich and decadent foods that left our pallets begging for more! Toni's knowledge of Italy and the flavors from the North to the South gave us such insight to the culinary masterworks of a country that knows the beauty of food. I highly suggest you demand Toni for your food tour. My family which include my wife and two daughters 12 and 11 were so happy we did this. Toni was amazing with my girls. Fabio gets a 10 star review, you can tell he knows Rome, He is very knowledgeable about the Rome area. He gave us some great history, took us to fantastic restaurants and market. All the food was amazing! He took the time to answer our questions. The bonus stop was the pyramid! This food tour is not stingy with their portions. We left full.

Since we are unable to fill your spot if you’re unable to attend for any reason (including transportation or illness), we do not offer refunds after that time. We would be happy to assist you with rescheduling your tour, free of charge, with any requests made more than 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of the tour. We reserve the right to charge an amendment fee should you request to reschedule within 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of your tour . Once again, this is subject to availability and price changes. In general, we only charge you for any additional costs that we incur such as tickets. We have no intention of profiting from disruptions to your vacation and will work with providers and suppliers to get this cost reduced to a minimum.
