Tour Description
Stroll through the historic streets of Florence’s Oltrarno on this 3-hour food and wine tour. Discover Tuscan street food and hearty traditional dishes, taste wine from a historic fiaschetteria, stop at a deli for cheese and cured meats, and finish with artisanal gelato while meeting the families who have served locals for generations.

Authentic, hidden gems!! We don't usually do large companies for tour experiences. But this one was an exception and did not disappoint!! Kiara was the the BEST guide. She took off the beaten path on the other side of the river in Florence to experience small, authentic family-owned eateries. Spend the little extra to add extra drinks on this tour you won't regret it. At Buonamici pastry shop, you have to get the Vin Santo to dip the biscotti/contucci. If you're looking for something fun to do in Florence that's not another museum, and get you out there walking and seeing the city, this is the perfect experience for you. We started with the perfect Florentine style breakfast, old school, and ended it with the most perfect gelato. Lots of food/lunch in the middle.

Amazing Experience Martina was an amazing tour guide that gave us an incredible culinary experience. She took excellent care of the entire group of travelers, including one with mobility issues and one with celiac’s disease, making sure that all of us had an incredible experience. I would highly recommend the Eating Florence tour, and after this experience, we’ll be checking out one in Venice next!

Hidden gems in Florence Our host Kiara was excellent and very knowledgeable - we got to see and experience traditional Tuscan food made with love by small family businesses.
I highly recommend buying the extra wine package for €16 per person- as there wasn’t a bad wine to be found.
It is a flat walk- and easy to do.
Tip: don’t have a pre breakfast- as you will fill up fast.

Francesco was a wonderful guide through the good and wine of Italy. He had a tremendous knowledge of the food and history we were sampling. That, combined with his superb personality made for a very enjoyable experience of Florence’s food market. The vendors were also very friendly and informative about what we were tasting. Really lovely food tour with Sara D. She was fun and gave us such good descriptions of the food and the makers. We got taken to some fabulous suppliers that I might not have found if I was by myself. Inside of 24 hours, your spot on the tour has been reserved exclusively for you. Since we are unable to fill your spot if you’re unable to attend for any reason (including transportation or illness), we do not offer refunds after that time. We reserve the right to charge an amendment fee should you request to reschedule within 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of your tour . Once again, this is subject to availability and price changes. In general, we only charge you for any additional costs that we incur such as tickets. We have no intention of profiting from disruptions to your vacation and will work with providers and suppliers to get this cost reduced to a minimum.
