A great way to explore Montmartre A highlight of our trip. We had a small group of 5 which was perfect for navigating the places we visited and the winding streets of the area. Juan, our guide, was outstanding. He has lived in Paris his whole life and shared his knowledge with us. The places we stopped were all great and the time they took to explain their foods with us was a treat. We were worried what we would do for 3.5 hours, however, the time actually passed faster than we thought it would. Highly recommend this experience and ask for Juan.

Great use of time and money to do this food and history tour with Eating Europe on our first day in Paris ( Montmartre)! We did the Eating Europe tour in Monmarte today with Betsy and another two couples who were great fun.
We visited many places to sample food, wine, cheese, chocolate & macaroons.
All amazing places.
The tour was very informative of the history of the area & we were given time to take it all in.
It was not rushed at all.
Would thoroughly recommend this tour.

Betsy did such a great job with keeping us engaged and sharing the history of what we were eating. The tour was just me and a couple, and thankfully we all hit it off so there was a lot of great conversation. There was a nice mixture of savory and sweet things to enjoy. We had a couple wine tastings as well. I highly recommend taking one of the tours. One thing to know: the first tour is a bit expensive but each one after that is half the price!

Great Way to Experience Monmartre My spouse and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Betsy was a great tour guide - knowledgeable, personable and easy to understand. Montmartre is a unique district that is a must see. There were 8 in our group which is a nice, manageable size. There were many wonderful tastings - the combination of tastings and sightseeing through the district was just right. Betsy gave a lot of history of the area which was very interesting. There was a wide variety of tastings ranging from chocolate croissants (our favorite - never ever have we had a croissant on that level) to oysters (not something we eat but the shrimp option we had was wonderful). There were many other tastings as well. Another favorite was the sausage. I'm not even a sausage fan but it won me over. This is a great tour that I highly recommend.

y favorite activity to do in Paris is to take a trip on the Bateaux Mouches, the open air excursion boats that go down the Seine river. I always make sure to go at dusk to get a beautiful sunset behind the Eiffel tower.

Our group tours begin & depart precisely at the scheduled tour or experience start time. If you show up late or cannot find the meeting point, for any reason, refund requests are not honored per policy. If you are having a hard time arriving on time we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible so we can do everything in our power to assist you with arriving at the meeting point at the scheduled time or reschedule to the next available tour.
CANCELLATION DUE TO PLANES, TRAINS, AUTOMOBILES OR ILLNESS
Inside of 24 hours, your spot on the tour has been reserved exclusively for you. Since we are unable to fill your spot if you’re unable to attend for any reason (including transportation or illness), we do not offer refunds after that time. Please plan ahead so that you are able to join us and don’t miss out!

AMENDMENT POLICY
We would be happy to assist you with rescheduling your tour, free of charge, with any requests made more than 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of the tour. We reserve the right to charge an amendment fee should you request to reschedule within 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of your tour . Once again, this is subject to availability and price changes. In general, we only charge you for any additional costs that we incur such as tickets. We have no intention of profiting from disruptions to your vacation and will work with providers and suppliers to get this cost reduced to a minimum.
