What a wonderful experience on our first day in Venice. Gianmarco made this tour extra special for us. We went to 5 different stops, and enjoyed local, fresh, Venetian cuisine. Our experience with Eating Europe in Venice was absolutely fantastic! This tour offered the perfect combination of exploring the city’s charm and indulging in its incredible local cuisine. Each stop was thoughtfully chosen, allowing us to taste authentic Venetian dishes while learning about the traditions and history behind them.
Our tour guide, Joe, was outstanding. He was friendly, engaging, and had a plethora of knowledge on all things local — from food culture to hidden gems around the city. The eating Food and Drinks tour through canneregio and the Jewish ghetto was outstanding. Touring with Julia and the rest of our tour group was like going out for drinks and food with friends. I loved how the area was much less congested than the tourists spots giving you space to really appreciate Venice. The restaurants that Julia took us to were Venetian owned and absolutely delicious. Julia, being Venetian born and bread, recommended her favorite restaurants to go to as well as told us the easiest way back to the airport from our lodging. We learned a lot about Venetian history and culture. My daughter has nut allergies and I had several allergies as well and the restaurants were very accommodating. We left very full and happy. Absolutely would recommend sweet Julia and Eating Europe!

I had a fabulous time on this food tour in the heart of Venice! Giulia was knowledgeable, friendly, and took us to some incredibly special parts of Venice and great local restaurants. I loved getting to see the quieter streets of Venice that I wouldn't have been able to find on my own. We had the best guide on our tour! Anna was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Her outgoing personality was infectious and our whole group had a great time. Food was also great! We had little appetizers, risotto, Venetian pizza, as well as wine and drinks. The venetian pizza was the best thing I ever had. It was a bite sized treat with meat, mozzarella, and pesto. Delicious.

I highly recommend booking this tour. Our tour guide Cecilia was awesome. She was so friendly and easy to talk to. She lived in Venice for 10 years so she really knew so much history about the Island and was able to answer any of our questions. As for the food and drinks, they were so good and all of our guides' recommendations were perfect as she knew all the authentic venetian food. I even went back to some of the places and ordered her some other food she had suggested.

We had such a great time on this food tour in Venice! Our guide, Cecelia, was absolutely fantastic—warm, knowledgeable, and passionate about Venetian culture and cuisine. She took us through parts of the city that felt much more local and authentic, which was exactly what we were hoping for.
It was such a refreshing break from the usual tourist routes, and we loved getting a taste (literally!) of the quieter, less-traveled side of Venice. If you show up late or cannot find the meeting point, for any reason, refund requests are not honored per policy. If you are having a hard time arriving on time we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible so we can do everything in our power to assist you with arriving at the meeting point at the scheduled time or reschedule to the next available tour.
CANCELLATION DUE TO PLANES, TRAINS, AUTOMOBILES OR ILLNESS
Inside of 24 hours, your spot on the tour has been reserved exclusively for you. Since we are unable to fill your spot if you’re unable to attend for any reason (including transportation or illness), we do not offer refunds after that time. We reserve the right to charge an amendment fee should you request to reschedule within 24 hours of 8am CET on the date of your tour . Once again, this is subject to availability and price changes. In general, we only charge you for any additional costs that we incur such as tickets. We have no intention of profiting from disruptions to your vacation and will work with providers and suppliers to get this cost reduced to a minimum.
