I think they have a great selection of signature cocktails and local wines. The staff does a great job of recommending the best to complement the light Italian aperitivi.

The terrace is particularly enchanting during sunset. I adore the picturesque backdrop of the city’s rooftops and hills in view for enjoying a drink at the start of a special occasion.

The San Donato Rooftop Terrace has a vibe that’s casual and relaxed. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a drink while taking in Bologna’s skyline, including the iconic Two Towers.

Their drinks menu includes some great classic aperitivos. I find their in-house take on Aperol spritz to be particularly refreshing, and it pairs nicely with their light snacks menu.

I like to stop her when I need to unwind after a long day. It’s best during summer evenings when the terrace is open to the public, and you don’t have to be a guest to enjoy the rooftop bar.

I think the artisanal cocktails at Casa Azzoguidi Rooftop are perfectly crafted, and each is made with premium ingredients and top-shelf liquors. Yet I think the secret gem is their curated wine list featuring regional selections that are hard to find outside of a winery tour!

Halto is a sophisticated bar and restaurant located atop the New iPoint Hotel in San Giovanni in Persiceto, approximately 30 minutes northwest of central Bologna. The rooftop boasts a boho-chic design with panoramic views and soothing vistas over the lush greenery of Bologna’s countryside.

The lounge area has an inviting atmosphere for aperitifs and a selection of tasty bites. I really enjoy their wide selection of expertly crafted signature cocktails and classic drinks.

I think Halto is particularly enchanting during sunset, when the panoramic views are most captivating. Yet, since the rooftop bar is integrated with the restaurant, it’s wise to make reservations in advance to secure a table.
