Valentine’s Day 2021 may look a little different this year, but love always prevails! Valentine’s Day is celebrated on February 14, and it is the day to shower our significant others with love and tokens of our affection. Whether it is through boxes of chocolate, bouquets of flowers, intimate dinners for two, or doing some kind of interactive Valentine’s Day activity together, the list of memorable Valentine’s moments keeps growing by the year.

It is always exciting to see what new traditions are adopted or created each year, such as  ‘Galentine’s Day’ the Feb 13th holiday celebrating female friendships.

With life still very much flipped upside down across the world, Valentine’s Day 2021 does present some new challenges too many of the tried and true traditions. But don’t worry, there are plenty of meaningful and memorable ways to create some Valentine’s Day magic from home!

To help you out we have compiled a list of our favorite Valentine’s Day Activities!

1. Enjoy breakfast in bed:

Start the day off right by putting on some nice romantic music like Billy Holiday and serving up a romantic Valentine’s Day breakfast in bed. So, Don’t forget the Prosecco!

2. RomCom Night:

Maybe a classic when it comes to Valentine’s Day activities, but always a favorite of ours! Pop open a bottle of wine, and pop up some popcorn, and snuggle up to some RomCom Classics like Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, or Princess Bride, to name a few of our favorite romantic movies.

3. Take an online cooking class together

Is there a skill in the kitchen you both want to brush up on? Learning something new together is a great way to bond. And of course, they say that food is the way to heart, so why not spend quality time preparing a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner together? You can try our Valentine’s risotto cooking class Risotto al Prosecco, a traditional dish served on this romantic day.

4. Make a scrapbook of your relationship

Even partners who aren’t so into crafts will get a kick out of this fun activity and enjoy looking back in-time. Gather up photos of your relationship, old ticket stubs, and meaningful receipts, and make a beautiful book that you’ll both treasure!

5. Have a Game night

For those with a competitive streak (or those who just like some good, old-fashioned fun), an exciting night of board games is the perfect Valentine’s Day activity to make this special day memorable, especially when there’s wine involved! New York Magazine did a great roundup of some of the best board games for adults. You can also buy these and other adult board games on Amazon

6. Massage Night

Transform your home into a spa by lighting the candles, choosing the right music – check out Zeels massage playlist and take turns giving each other massages. Finish the massage session with something sweet to cap off the evening.

7. Go Camping in Your Living Room

Take a page from your childhood by pulling out the blankets and creating your own little cozy fort. Then make some hot chocolate with Baileys or Irish Coffee and if you have a fireplace bust out the marshmallows otherwise toast up some s’mores in the oven and even try out your best scary story. The best part is you don’t have to sleep on the hard ground or living room floor and when the night is over you can fall asleep in bed.

There are plenty of options to create fun and romantic Valentine’s Day Activities this year! Don’t let Covid get in the way of your creativity and fun. Best of all, try a new activity for Valentine’s Day 2021!
